I spent a good chunk of my afternoon class trying to decide what I could make, that wouldn't take FOREVER, but would still be really good. Suddenly, a scathingly brilliant idea popped into my brain!
ME: I've got it!
CLASSMATE: What?
ME: I'm going to make candy apples for the bake sale!
CLASSMATE: Oh...that's gooooooood. Uh...have you ever made them?
ME: No.
CLASSMATE: Uh...do you feel pretty confident that you CAN???
ME: I have passed entire human beings through my vagina. I can do ANYTHING!!!
So, Itty Bitty and I went to the Bulk Barn and got a kit to make candy apples. The instructions looked pretty simple. .....much easier than natural childbirth, anyway.
Beautiful! Too pretty to eat.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! And definitely easier than natural childbirth! I have to prepare something for a potluck, and I've decided it will be Rice Krispie treats - too easy!
ReplyDeleteNeed a taste tester...PICK ME, PICK ME!!!!
ReplyDeleteYummy....I love these :0) Don't they look perfect!
ReplyDeleteNice job :0) really you were a candy apple virgin before these beauties???
Happy sewing
Yum! I haven't had a candy apple in years! On the other hand too many candy apples may be why I've had so many root canals *LOL*
ReplyDeleteI just looked at those apples again........
ReplyDeletethey are so glossy and perfect I can see your reflection in the apples....holding the camera with a scooped necked tee shirt on!
Actually I came back to your site to look at your Christmas Lights layout........think I'm ready to put those blocks together :0).
I also started my Shakespeare in the Park this week :0)....like I need another project :0).
