Social Work is tough...

Actually - - I had one of the best days ever today - - back to back appointments, no time to do case notes, totally missed lunch - - BUT I was able to take some considerable stress off a young family's shoulders and hook them up with some practical resources, spent nearly 2 hours with the cutest couple ever sorting out some tricky issues, and really connected with an ageing Asian lady with very limited English over menopausal symptoms and stress incontinence (we laughed our asses off! and maybe even tinkled a little!)

I freaking LOVE being a social worker!
