Now What?
Ooooooooold project - - stack n' whack four patches--the main fabric is cats on quilts--that were sitting in a bag and I felt compelled to make something usable out of it. The pale yellow print is an equally ooooooooooold Cranston VIP print of tone on tone roses. (You know you've got some in your very oldest stash, so no snickering allowed.)
I don't know what to do with it now. It's really quite unattractive. And I mean that in the kindest way possible.

I don't think it is unattractive at all..in fact I think it's quite nice :-)! How about a red border to pull it all together? The chemo quilt project can always use more quilts, so if you don't know what to do with it, it could go there? :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree! It looks nice in the picture. A pretty red border would be great. You could always add some simple applique in the yellow paths or just add the border and a back and give it away. I like the patriotic look to it. Don't despair. It really looks okay. K-
ReplyDeleteLOL . This quilt would be loved by someone who does not have your talent. Gifting would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others, your quilt looks very nice. i personally love yellow for a background. If you don't want to keep the quilt, it can easily be donated. Nancy, all your quilts are beautiful and this one will be loved by someone as well.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with everyone else. I really like this quilt and am going to Google the name to come up with directions if I can. Would love to see the original print.
