Eight more hexagon flowers, which brings my count up to 64 - wow! I expect I won't have as many as this to report on next Wednesday. See...I like to work on my hand stitching in the evening in bed. Last night, and the next few nights, I'll be sewing down the binding on my Lucky Stars quilt!
In case you've been wondering how my Simple Abundance Project is coming along - - I'm noticing some very pleasant changes. As STUFF is moving out, my capacity for joy and serenity is increasing. A bold statement, indeed, but how else can I explain the breathless giddiness I am feeling? I'm conscious that the content of my thoughts is so much more positive and generous.
Did I mention I'm going to give yoga a try? I am very concerned about the lack of flexibility I have - - my knees are pretty crunchy, and I have an old nurse's spine - - but I had a long phone conversation with the instructor about my worries, and now I'm excited about experiencing something new.
thats when i do mine too... its a good way to end the day!
ReplyDeleteI, along with many quilters will no doubt be anxious to hear if the yoga helps with flexibility. Lots of us out here that are starting to creak and groan...so we're more than open to suggestions! Lovely hexagons...but binding are also good!
ReplyDeleteGood for you with 64 flowers!! I was just reading about your Simple Abundance Project and think I should do a little of that myself.
ReplyDeleteSeven beautiful flowers added - great! Sewing in bed....I have never heard of that one! it is better than eating biscuits in bed, unless you loose a pin or two :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the Simple Abundance Project is making life better in unexpected ways!
ReplyDeletePretty flowers. Good luck with Yoga
