Hi Nancy, Glad someone can help you recover your instructions for your quilt. I'm still hoping that someday our blog will resurface, but I'm moving over to blogger too.
Hi I ran a crossed your site and saw the 7 shirts quilt.I sent it to several of my quilt guild members and the idea started a project day to do your quilt. We are of the age that a lot of us have our dads shirts saved that have passed away looking for some way to preserve a piece of them and what a comforting way to do this. On Sat Sept 18th in Elkhart ,Indiana U.S.A. we are having a Guild project day to do this . I cannot Thank you enough for the instructions.I am now looking to make this into a Pdf file to save I have managed to copy and paste it to an email to save for myself and to send to the ladies so they can print a copy . Most of us have emails so we have access . I wanted you to know that was probably why there was so much traffic to the site. I also wanted you to know that we were using your pattern for a group project.I hope this isn't a problem ? I did not think so by the pictures posted of the group that did the project some time ago.I will send pics of our efforts and results ......Again Thank you so much this is going to be a fun day.Sincerely,Debbie Kelly in Warsaw,Indiana U.S.A. http://somewhereinstitchesblogspot.com
I googled "buy scraps and shirttails" - Bonnie Hunter's book.I was directed to http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-60928-1.htm ,which led me to your blog .Thank you so much Joan,New Zealand
I saw a seven shirts quilt during show and tell at a guild meeting and went to the blog site the member had. There I found a link to your site. A friend needs a comfortable quilt while he is on the road and I thought this would be a perfect truck quilt. I'm just collecting the shirts and hope to get stated soon.
Hi! I can send you the instructions, if you still need them. Email me off line from stashbusters. Cheers! Mary Catherine
