I couldn't back up far enough to get in ALL of the blocks in the photograph, but I'm now finished the 25 blocks for my Pick & Choose quilt. On to the borders and sashing!
I've had a terrific day - - sewing, reading, a nap! Jealous??? hehehe
I am loving this quilt! I have the magazine with pattern, and I may just be tempted to try it. Was it difficult? Oh by the way, just for the record...you deserved this "perfect day"
what border are you thinking of doing? I finally started my version, a smaller block and added solids in the background. should be an older look b/c I am using fabrics from the 60-70's. Now that I have it all cut out, should go quick. cw
That is a really cool quilt! Wow, seems like you finished it pretty fast too. Nothing like procrastination from studying to inspire one to work on a quilt, right? I'll have to check and see if I can find that magazine. I think I've already bought it. Mine would probably have all Amy Butler and Heather Bailey prints in it though. Wouldn't that look different!
That is such a great quilt! Crafty Girls Anna, I do think Amy Butler prints would make a completely different looking quilt. One of the joys of quilting is taking a pattern and seeing what comes out depending upon our fabrics and block orientation. Happy stitching!
Looks great Nancy! Its hard to see where one block ends and another begins! Love it, Sam xox
