I'm really loving this quilt!
The pattern was from the June 09 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.

  1. That is nice, looks like you have a good balance of color. I am just starting to cut some fabric for mine.

  3. Oh very nice...I've been away playing grandma and having a ball with my sweet Lily Kate... but will be back at it soon. What did you do around each block?

  10. I had signed up and stared a swap for Jewel Box in 30's the same week that this magazine came out and upon closer look I noticed this is very close to the same block (different placements of colors) and ever since then when I worked on my swap blocks I've regretted it...

Your "Pick & Choose" turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! It's on my growing list of tops to make :)

  11. Well, I had to go through quite a few newer posts to get to this, but I knew you'd get it done on your vacation. It looks FABULOUS! Mine is calling to me from the design wall, but I'm still trying to finish up hand quilting this top for my sister (and the quilt show next week). I can't wait to get back to this.
